FD.Avenue


Last week I won my 2nd ever twitter comp and a couple of days letter this lovely dress landed on my doorstep from FD.Avenue. The prizes were already preselected I just had to give them my size...this could have turned out horribly wrong. I am usually an 8-10 but last week I tried on a size 10 top in topshop and couldn't even get my arm through the sleeve, they really need to sort their sizing out!!! FD.Avenue sizes however are pretty true to form and I now have a lovely coral lacey addition to my wardrobe. I was having a bad face day when I took this picture hence the head crop but as long as you can see the lovely dress I'm sure your not that bothered :)

    I hate it when sizes are different in different shops - sometimes I never know what size to order online, or it comes and is too small. Well done on winning the comp :)

  4. You look beautiful, topshop sizes are terribly unreliable. I'm a size 8 but couldn't even get a pair of their jeans in a size ten past my thighs! So stupid.

  11. Topshop sizing is always super weird, I wouldn't worry about it. I worked for them for years and we always got returns because of that. Topshop does not allocate for legs, arms or boobs, so stupid. This dress is beautiful though! The coral is so nice with your skin tone!

  12. I have that dress in white, best dress ever. Although wish I had the coral, because literally got so much nandos down my dress. Embarrassing!
